Mandy helps healthcare teams pin down coding, compliance, and data problems and turn findings into practical, lasting fixes.

Since 2010, she has advised clients on coding compliance, payer and RAC audits, and revenue cycle operations, and has been a coding expert for law enforcement in suspected fraud cases.

She is Program Director and Associate Professor of Health Informatics at the Community College of Allegheny County. As Principal Clinical Coding AI Engineer at Bluespine, she develops AI algorithms to detect fraud, waste, abuse, and error in healthcare.

Previously, she managed risk adjustment coding operations at Optum, leading a team of 11 plus offshore and contract coders. As a senior medical coder at Change Healthcare, she received Spotlight and Innovation awards. Earlier, she managed coding and billing across nine locations as revenue cycle operations manager at Vision Plus.

She serves as a director of the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA) and president of the AAPC Central Pittsburgh chapter, and has served on AHIMA education committees.

Credentials: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and CompTIA Project+.

Education: M.S. in Data Analytics, MBA in Healthcare Management, and B.S. in Health Information Management, Western Governors University.

Partner and Principal Consultant

Alison brings nearly 20 years in healthcare operations, coding, billing, and compliance on both the provider and payer sides.

She helps physician practices and health systems audit coding and documentation, assess compliance and fraud risk, and build workflows and tools their teams can maintain.

As director of administrative operations for a large, multi-site radiology practice, she leads a team of direct reports and oversees physician workforce planning, scheduling and coverage, practice-wide compliance, coding and auditing, data analytics, and technology. She works with physician leaders to align operational priorities, modernize scheduling, strengthen data validation and reporting, and implement tools for scheduling, reporting, and workflow automation.

Previously, she held associate director roles in payment integrity and value-based care with a major national insurer, where she identified strategies to reduce fraud and medical costs. She also helped develop computer-assisted coding products using natural language processing. Earlier, she audited physician coding, built EHR applications, and supervised value-based care projects for a regional health system, coded for a physician group, and led a billing team.

She teaches medical coding as adjunct faculty in an accredited online health information technology program, bringing current coding, compliance, and auditing practice into the classroom. She serves on the PHIMA Education Advisory Board, has mentored new coders through AAPC since 2020, and served two terms as president of the AAPC Allentown chapter.

Brianna turns complex healthcare data into reporting that physicians and leaders trust.

She specializes in physician productivity analytics, regulatory reporting, data validation, and automated reporting. She works with physicians, leaders, technical teams, and vendors to make reporting reliable.

Her focus is sustainable solutions that strengthen confidence in the data behind clinical and operational decisions.

Education: Bachelor's degree from PennWest Edinboro and associate degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College.
